Commission to create art for Firstsite Gallery with school students

This was a commission for Firstsite, Colchester. I worked with local children to explore British ecology focussing on current headlines in the news such as 'thirty years of soil fertility remains in Britain'.  'We need more forests, we need more homes' is an installation of drawings of local wildlife with protest banners, making their needs known in a woodland scene installed in a toy theatre. 'Birds Eye Britain' is a tessellating tile game exploring ecologicical issues made up of collaged children's drawings and my watercolour painting. I have copies of the game to use for future workshops. The exhibition was on for three months at Firstsite, Colchester in 2018.
